2026-02-18A free demo of Ultimate Hunting, an open-world hunting simulator, is now available on PC. The demo highlights the game’s core systems and takes hunters to an African reserve with elephants, zebras, and hares. Developers at Wildlands Interactive note that the demo reflects the current state of development, and work on the title continues. Ultimate Hunting is coming to PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2, but release dates have not been announced.
Ultimate Hunting is developed by the three-person Polish studio Wildlands Interactive. The publisher on PC and consoles is Ultimate Games, known for the bestselling Ultimate Fishing Simulator series and the cooperative game Crime Simulator.
Head to the Wild Savanna!
Available on Steam since February 20, the Ultimate Hunting Demo offers an early look at development and lets players test the core gameplay systems. Hunting fans can explore a 16 km² African reserve with a wild savanna. The demo features single-player mode, free exploration, and a first-person perspective.
The demo focuses on core gameplay elements like exploration, tracking, and transporting harvested game. Players encounter three animal species: African elephants, Burchell’s zebras, and savanna hares. Each animal has distinct behavior and size. Players can also use one vehicle and customize their weapon, such as changing the caliber and barrel length.

Hunting in Africa and California
Ultimate Hunting is an open-world hunting simulator with both single-player and multiplayer modes, offering extensive gameplay options. Players can plan expeditions, stalk and track animals, and lure and bait wildlife.
The hunting grounds include two large locations: California Hunting Reserve and Southern Africa Hunting Reserve. Hunters will find dozens of diverse animal species. The game also promotes ethical hunting principles.
The full version will debut first on PC, though the exact release date is not set. The simulator will later arrive on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2.
